Line Chase is a game built by TEKKNIGHTS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Line Chase mobile app ("the Game") collects and how it's used. We collect as little as possible: you can start playing as a guest with no sign-up form, and the only data that leaves your device is what's needed to run online matches, keep your coins and rank safe on our server, and operate the standard third-party services below.
You can play the offline bot without any account. To play online (real-time 1v1, private rooms, leaderboards) the Game creates a guest account tied to a hashed, random install identifier — no email, name or personal details required. You may optionally link a Google, Apple or Facebook account so your progress can be restored on a new device. We never sell your data, we never ask for your date of birth, and we never show your email to other players.
To run the Game and keep competitive play fair, our server stores:
Live match state (whose turn it is, the current picks, presence and line counts) is held temporarily in Google Firebase Realtime Database while a match is in progress, so both players stay in sync. It is transient match data, not a long-term profile of you.
The Game relies on a small set of well-known services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Realtime Database | Live 1v1 match state | Google LLC |
| Firebase Analytics | Anonymous, opt-out usage analytics | Google LLC |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash & error reporting | Google LLC |
| Google AdMob | Rewarded & banner/interstitial ads | Google LLC |
| In-app purchases | Coin-pack payments & entitlement | Apple Inc. / Google LLC |
| Sign-in (optional) | Account link / restore | Google / Apple / Facebook |
Analytics events are anonymous and aggregated. On iOS they are gated behind Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; you can also turn analytics off any time in Settings → Privacy. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier to show and measure ads under Google's Privacy Policy. Any coin purchase that removes ads stops those ad requests.
On leaderboards and when another player views your profile, what's visible depends on your privacy mode: an Open profile shows your name, avatar, country and coin total; a Private profile shows only your name and country. Your email is never shown. This filtering happens on our server, not on the device.
Line Chase includes a bright “Kids” theme, but it collects no personal information from any player beyond the minimal, mostly-anonymous data above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because in-app purchases are processed by the device's app store, we recommend parents enable store-level parental controls for younger players.
Data in transit is protected with TLS. Sensitive fields (gender, linked-account email) are encrypted at rest and install identifiers are hashed. We keep your account data while your account exists; when you delete it, personal fields are wiped as described above.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Game evolves. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and continued play after a change means you accept it.
